HOW TO HOST AN EASY AND FUN GALENTINES DAY BRUNCH

I love love love Galentines Day! It is the perfect time to get together with your girlfriends and celebrate friendship! 

This Galentine’s day brunch was extra special because it was the first time I met three of my favorite Nashville Mom Bloggers! 

When I started blogging last year, I didn’t know many other content creators, and the ones that I did know were not African American or creating content similar to mine. Representation in every field is important, So when I found Alesha’s, Lena’s, and Ashley’s Instagram pages I was so excited to connect with them! 

It was a real treat to meet these ladies and host a small Galentines Brunch over the weekend!

One of my favorite quotes is:  

“KEEP IT CUTE, KEEP IT FUN, KEEP IT SIMPLE.” and that is precisely what I did with this brunch! 

INVITATIONS 

I kept my invitations simple and sweet by using CANVA and remixing one of their templates, and I sent them to the girls digitally.

If you don’t have a Canva subscription, you can also purchase and remix templates from ( paperless post and evite have free options too.)

FOOD & DRINK

 Charcuterie boards are one of the easiest ways to add variety and flavor to your brunch table!

We had two different types of Delicious boards: Charcuterie and Sweets! Courtesy of Local Nashville Resturanunt Anzie Blue. 

I don’t think that you can have brunch without Mimosa’s, so that is exactly what we had as well as a Martini’s!.

DECOR 

BALLOON GARLAND

Every Great Party needs a Cute Backdrop for photos! And Balloons and Confetti 615 created us a Beautiful Balloon Garland and Jumbo Balloon that made our event POP (no pun intended) 

Not only was the balloon garland beautiful, but it also made my job as a host so much easier because Megan had it set up ready to go when I got there!

TABLE DECOR

Whole Foods flowers always are fresh and affordable. And I picked up three arrangements for only 7.00. each right before brunch and used vases that I had at home for the table. The letterboard came from Target and was about $15.00.

FUN

This Galentines Brunch was all about getting to know each other, so I put on a Galentine’s Playlist to play in the background while we chatted and got to know each other.
