At the beginning of the year, I decided to get monthly manicures as part of my self-care routine.
Then my nail tech that I usually go to left the salon, so this is my first manicure of 2021.
My nails are generally healthy and grow quickly; however, they are not very thick, so I started to get Acrylic and Dip Powder nails in October of last year.
I loved the look that the Acrylic and Dip powder give me, but it started damaging my nail beds, and most of my natural nails broke.
So, I did some research to find a healthier alternative, and I came across Gel-X Apres.
Basically, Gel-X is a soft gel nail extension that allows you to add the nail shape and length you want without the harsh chemicals and risk of damage to your nails like acrylics.
Then I booked an appointment with Paint Nail Bar here in Nashville. It was my first visit there, and I loved it!
The customer service was wonderful, the salon is super clean and cute, and my Nail Tech Chrystal was so welcoming and executed my Valentine’s Day Nail’s perfectly!
I had about ten ideas for what I wanted, and she helped me narrow it down to the set below!
I love doing a mixture of colors and designs. So we did a Matte red, white, and light pink for the polishes!
Chrystal hand drew my red kisses and XO, which is my favorite part of the design because it’s all about the details for me!
This is a series that I will post each month so check back here next month for my March Mani Nail Inspo, and Fyi Paint Nail Bar has 19 locations. If you have one near you, definitely check them out!
Did you get a Valentine’s Day Manicure?
